Paying respects to those who died in a Pakistan school, 16 December 2014

A condolence book has been arranged for residents wishing to pay their respects to the 141 people who died in the school attack in Peshawar, Pakistan on Tuesday. 132 of the victims were children.

Anyone wishing to sign the book or leave a message of respect can do so from 9am to 5pm at the Town Hall (Forest Road, Walthamstow E17 4JF) until the end of Tuesday. Residents can access the building during the weekend.

Leader of the Council, Chris Robbins, said: “Tuesday’s attack can only be described as a disturbing tragedy. My heart goes out to all of the families who lost their loved ones. ”
