Tickets available for Mayor’s Charity Dinner

A charity dinner is being held next month at Walthamstow Assembly Hall to raise money for three charities.



Mayor of Waltham Forest, Cllr Saima Mahmud, has arranged the fundraising event in support of three chosen charities - the Kiran Project, Haven – the Survivors of Abuse Network, and Waltham Forest Samaritans.



Taking place on Friday 15 April, guests will be able to enjoy a three course Asian dinner along with entertainment and fundraising activities including a silent auction.



Tickets to the Mayor’s Charity Dinner cost £30 each, with tables seating groups of eight guests. All profits will be shared between the three charities. Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.

Please inform the office of any dietary or other special requirements at the time of booking. Payments by cheque should be made payable to ‘The Mayor’s Charity’.

  • The Kiran Project supports Asian women and children fleeing domestic violence and abuse.

  • Haven – the Survivors of Abuse Network supports, assists and empowers young people and adults who have been victims of sexual violence and/or sexual abuse and domestic violence.
